Donald Trump is back with more chaos. He’s back to wrecking America, trying to break us all. He’s using the military to intimidate civilians, to oppress. Trump doesn’t want the backlash, he doesn’t want loud American patriots hitting the streets, in every corner of the country. No, he wants silence, submission. He demands it.
Many are afraid that Trump will use the chaos from the anti-ICE protests to further push his authoritarian agenda. Full on dictatorship. But after all, he’s already done it — arresting judges, kidnapping people, sending masked agents to terrorize entire communities, even worse, defying Supreme Court rulings. This was always the plan, you know it was coming. There was never going to be anything pretty about a second Trump term.
But the truth is, Donald Trump prefers the quietness. He thrives in it, perhaps just as much as thrives in the chaos. When things are quiet, he can continue gaslighting Americans, quietly passing his radical agenda, all while he lies about how popular he is, attends events, further radicalizes his side, all without any pushback. But Los Angeles said f*ck that. Enough is enough.
Hundreds of thousands of patriotic Americans hit the streets, they made their voice heard. Against all odds. Against shady masked federal agents, local police, and even the national guard. Trump made endless threats, he federalized the national guard against the will of Governor Newsom, then doubled down by mobilizing US Marines. That’s right, Marines, against American civilians. It’s madness.
But what Donald Trump doesn’t understand, is that there is no win here for him. No, even at his worst, even as he attempts a full-on scale authoritarian takeover, things won’t go his way. See, the government needs us. They are nothing without us. We are the very backbone of America. Our major cities are the economic force of the country, they are tourist hotspots, massive tech hubs, hosts to the best schools in the nation, home to millions. And it’s not just hardcore Trump-hating liberals that live in these very cities, no. There’s independents, Republicans, centrists, people who don’t vote, people who don’t give a f*ck and have nothing to lose, but there’s also businesses, major businesses.
Some of Trump’s own allies live in our cities. His donors, his backers, even his loudest supporters. There is no win for him here. Militarizing our streets, our cities, will only result in more chaos, it will affect everyone, ultimately breaking the American economy in half — just like it happened in 2020. And think about that, how much power we hold. You, me, all of us. Trump thinks he’s above us all, the mad king. He’s got it wrong. Even if we just quietly organize a national strike, we could break the US economy into little pieces. They won’t even see it coming.
Trump needs us. Yes, even us. Without our compliance, the US faces great danger from competitive regimes like Russia, China and North Korea. The US government simply can’t afford to go to war with its people. It’ll be their loss. With the current global chaos, Ukraine-Russia, Israel-Palestine (and now expanding the conflict with Lebanon and Iran) — Trump’s White House would be foolish to go to war with the American people. And we’re not just 75 million strong, that’s just the number of people that actually voted for Harris in 2024. There’s millions more now with us, millions who couldn’t vote, those who now regret their vote for Trump, or regret sitting out the election.
Can Trump afford a war on all fronts? The war with Russia, with yet another madman threatening America with nuclear annihilation. China? Expanding, and becoming more popular by the day. And that’s not to mention North Korea, Iran, terror groups like Hamas. Perhaps this is not the time for Trump to go to war with us, it won’t be pretty, for anyone. The US government doesn’t want to lose. You think Republicans won’t backstab him if the economy collapses? That’s all they do, eat each other. Just look at Musk.
It’s important to remember Trump’s already facing a re-shaping of global order, directly a result of his own words and actions. Canada, Germany, Australia, Romania, and even more recently, South Korea, have all shifted or rejected right-wing radical populism. Say what you want about how close it was for Germany for example, but at least they did the bare minimum, accomplishing what we failed to do here in 2024. And they did it against Musk. Defeating the AfD. Donald Trump is in no position to go to war with us, the people. The people that truly run this country, America’s backbone.
And we know who Trump really is. TACO. He’s backed down on his tariffs over and over again. All talk. For now, Newsom’s got his number. The governor did what he had to do. He took the heat, for his people. He outsmarted Trump, played with him, and he did so while in an uncomfortable position, Trump after all, had federalized the national guard and he was pressuring Gavin Newsom relentlessly. But Newson didn’t back down, he got to work, with local law enforcement and other local leaders, with communications, working with the people. But that fight is still ongoing.
Just like the fight for the soul of America. The fight for democracy. It goes on. Trump will try his best to break us, he’ll use every tool at his dispense to try to end the American experiment. He’ll use the military, the national guard, federal agencies, overwhelm us with executive orders, he’ll continue to defy the courts, he’ll keep arresting political opposition, even judges, attacking the press. He will try it all. But there’s just too many of us, too loud, too angry, too fed up with this bullsh*t, disgusted, tired of the Trump era, and we won’t stop. We will never stop. Together, united, and relentless.
The fight goes on. It’s us, or Trump. See you tomorrow, June 14th.
