I worry that JD is slinking in the background just waiting for his chance to eviscerate what's left of our democracy. We need to oust them both!

So do I. There has to be some way to get rid of ALL of them: Trump, Vance, Miller, Vought, RFK, Noem, Patel, Leavitt, etc. They are all poor examples of leadership!

Karma is all around Trump! Remember the first handicap person he mocked, it was down hill for him ever since. You can't hurt "the least of these" and think God wouldn't have a payday of judgment for you. He continued to believe the more he degraded America and destroy the Federal Government, there would be enough people of hate and Discrimination to praise him! But the more he did contrary to the Constitution, the deeper he failed and will keep on failing!

Perhaps our next protest will be even bigger and do all of them in!

Great article. As much as I hate Vance (Ohio native here, although I'm from CLEVELAND and we all hate him and most other Ohio politicians up here, thanksverymuch), I actually think him taking the big chair in the oval office might not be... well it wouldn't be GOOD, but I do think that Congress will turn back on like a switch being flipped. Idk WHY they're all so scared of the bumbling old man who doesn't even understand what's going on, but what I DO know is that many of them - and Republicans at large - H A T E Vance. Again, it wouldn't be good! But the scale of checks and balances might wobble a little closer to being balanced. Because he is not popular, has a tendency to rub people the wrong way, and the old white Republican men in the Senate and House don't like being talked down to by a Millennial, regardless of Peter Thiel's influence.

I hope you’re right. Vance scares me a lot. Project 2025 is close to his heart.

Trust me, I do too! We've just seen time and again that, due to the fact that his name has been in the public sphere for so long, Trump's influence is unlimited. But Project 2025 remains deeply unpopular, and while Vance might be a puppet, I feel he's an empty, useless one without Trump there behind him.

Karma and getting rid of just Trump will not stop the destruction of this whole regime. Trump is just the puppet. The puppeteers are all the other names in his “cabinet” plus Vought and everyone working on Project 2025. So far, it is working like they want it to. They are counting on Trump taking the fall and pushing Vance into the foreground. It will be even worse. That’s hard to imagine. But I’m pretty sure it’s the plan. There is a point of no return. We are quickly approaching it…if we haven’t crossed over already.
